Payment and Receipts
Payment: You are free to pay by cash, cheque or money order. Cheques and money
orders should be made out to School Is Cool Tutorial Agency.
- Payment is required at minimum once a month. If you wish, you may pay at each
lesson. If your tutor is coming more than once a week, please pay at the
end of each week.
- A 10% discount is allowed for students who have more that 4 hours a week
tutoring. The regular fees apply if 3 or fewer hours per week are required.
- Your tutor will provide you with a receipt if you require one each time you pay.
- Receipts for tax purposes (if applicable) are sent out in the new year.
For your convenience your tutor will provide you with a business card with his
or her contact information. Please provide 24 hours notice directly to your
tutor if you need to cancel a scheduled tutoring session. You will be required
to pay the minimum one hour fee should you miss a scheduled tutoring
appointment.
For your benefit, all of our tutors are required to provide us with a current
police check.
The information with which you provide us is kept
strictly confidential. It is only used for the purpose for which you give it to
us, that is, to set you up with tutoring support. By asking us to connect you
with a tutor, you are giving 'implied consent' for us to share your contact
information and details about your tutoring requirements with your tutor. Your
tutor is required to respect your confidentiality.
